Based on the photos inside the album, it looks like Not Tonight & The Headaches are having a lot of fun with their brand of pop punk. They remind me of a slowed down and more restrained version of The Huntingtons; I’m not initially impressed, as they rely a little too much on repeated choruses, but the album grows on me. Track four, ‘Reasons To Smile’, is a great love song number, for example. There’s hints of Bad Religion as an influence but, overall, the band fall short, with lyrics and riffs that are not sufficiently interesting.
