This is some quality post hardcore/punk or whatever from Calgary featuring a number of veterans from other bands including Stalwart Sons and Damages plus some others I’m less familiar with – already enough to get me interested. It has this driven and hard-working, almost blue collar, feel to it and a more than healthy rhythm section complementing the gritty vocals. The slow-burning “Street View” is such a great track to end the album on. I’d recommend this if you like bands like Fellow Project and it’s similar enough in sound to Stalwart Sons to be worth looking up if they’ve ever been your thing. I feel like I should have known about this band earlier as they’ve been around for a couple of years but there’s a few more releases on the Bandcamp page to get into too which is good news for me.
