Poppy melodic punk with ex-members of etc. etc. but this is far from being just another band in a long list of bands. This is, quite simply, a straight up banger of an album. A perfectly nuanced sense of melancholy, nicely sung vocals, and a real sense of drive and purpose. These songs are short, but sweet. They aren’t hanging around – there’s no fat at all, but each small story is still delivered with plenty of charm and a healthy dose of sweet guitar licks. I could try and list a bunch of bands this sounds ‘sort of like’. But I’d just be wasting time – I could be listening to this. So could you, and you’d be all the better for it, punk fans. Get this on, and get out in the Spring sun. Thanks Andy – this is basically perfect!
