Disciples Of Christ (or DOC for the acronymically inclined) make devastating grindcore that borders on almost pure noise, and it’s beautiful. An unrelenting bullet-train of suffocating blasts and downtuned guitars that has the good taste to offer glimmers of tangible riffing here and there before submerging you again. There’s innovation and danger in what they’re trying to do, with an offbeat approach that takes no prisoners. At around four minutes, this is short, violent and miserable, like your life.
