This is a bit of an old one, released back in 2015, which seems like a lifetime ago now, but glad I got the chance to hear it.
Four tracks of cool catchy German post-punk, which instantly bring bands such as the Wipers, Mission of Burma, and even The Gun Club to mind, while also making you repeatedly go ‘this sounds familiar’, while frustratingly not being able to pinpoint it.
Veering into almost 80s pop in places with the drum beats, and going a little goth when the guitar comes in. For me ‘Kalte Kusse’ is a stand out track on the record as the music is faultless and the dual vocals really do it for me.
While this is not exactly the most original record, it is packed with great tunes, and I’d definitely pick up another if they release one.
