Heaven In Her Arms continue to take their cues from Envy, more so here than ever, and, in many ways, that’s all you need to know. The downside is that Envy nailed the style and will forever be pioneers, with similar bands in their shadow. The upside is that with Envy no longer around, this style is still very much welcome and HIHA have done a very good job with White Halo. They are more metal and are happy to go off on long instrumental passages, before reeling back in so the singer can alternately whisper or scream at you.
