Gothic-rock and industrial normally have me running for the hills but what the hell, let’s give this a go. Straight away I’m captivated into the world of Mad Max (that’s my only point of reference for this sort of thing), as the clean sounding instruments make their battle cry. Kudos to the effect-laden keyboards which go off on one on ‘Heartblades’. I’m getting into it by the time ‘Vile Angel’ comes along, well almost. Deep vocals paint a picture of lost love throughout, it’s kind of terrible and kind of terrific.
