Anti-System were around in the 1980s and reformed in 2014. Their name, and the fact that there are photographs of dead bodies on both the front and back should tell you most of what you need to know. I don’t mean to be flippant; it’s pretty godamn harrowing. I was cynical as I don’t like being force fed lyrics, but actually I like this. The title track opens things up and there’s a three minute instrumental intro before we kick into gear. It sounds like a faster and more straightforward version of Tragedy to my untrained ears – but with more heavy metal riffs. The five song length also means I comfortably last the whole EP.
