This lot have apparently been together for the better part of a decade, but this seems to be the only thing they have out beyond a live CDR. While the years might’ve been quiet release-wise you definitely get the impression that they’ve at least done a heck of a lot of practising, because this short, sharp EP is about as complete a hardcore 7″ as you could hope to find. Vocals are howling mad and the drumming tumbles about all over the place, and this sense of the desperation is matched beat for beat by scorching thrash riffing that’s tightly-controlled while at the same time sounding highly combustible. If a blip in the space-time continuum led to a couple of these tracks finding themselves on some old Selfish or Hold Up comp then they wouldn’t sound remotely out of place, and my only hope at this stage is that it won’t be ten damn years before the next recording sees the light of day.
