Another band I’ve not heard before. Sounds of Swami come from Yorkshire and play the kind of post hardcore that falls somewhere between At The Drive-In and something like Wooderson. This is their second album and it kicks in with the slow burn of “Lull” before the energy levels are turned up a notch and it’s much more of an assault from thereon in. The best song on here for me is “Kill Me Already” which is a bit of a ripper. I haven’t heard many current bands playing this style lately – maybe there are loads but I’m unaware. Decent.
