No Balls - More Is More - LP (2017)

Labels: 8mm
Review by: Alex Deller

Tense, aggressive and utterly hypnotic, No Balls continue to make music that is somehow both artful and artless. Neolithic riffs are repeated until the fabric of your mind starts to bleed; brass instruments grunt like startled farmyard beasts and the whole experience is like being laughingly overpowered by a very strong and very ingenious bully. While it’s not a pleasant experience it’s a frighteningly compelling one, working as a wonderful standalone slab of aggravation as well as a perfect companion piece to the Orchestra Of Constant Distress LP released by the same label.
