Two tracks of bolshy, glam-bashed, 70s-sounding punk that touches base with Sheer Mag, the Runaways and a low-rent version of Iggy Pop’s ‘Kill City’. The guitars are big and arrogant-sounding, and the strident female vocals are backed by slurred, Joey-Ramone-As-Muppet male vox. There’s a slight awkwardness to the songwriting that prevents either track being flat-out great, but there’s still enough here to suggest future offerings could be more than worth a whirl.
