Rabid, snarling, hugely antagonistic stuff, as you might expect from Youth Attack. In many regards the songs are typical, classic-sounding hardcore: tight, tough and compact, with blurted, thrown-in-the-back-of-a-police-wagon vocals. At the same time, though, there’s a weird garagey vibe going on, with the guitars in particular sounding flinty and ragged round the edges, lending things a rangy air and hinting that things could easily get out of hand.
