This is the follow up to the 2015 demo from Pittsburgh’s Concealed Blade. Featuring members of No Time, Creem, Heartless, and Hounds of Hate they’ve a strong calibre, so you’re straight off expecting a lot, and this delivers. Straight up unapologetic Hardcore in an SSD style/mid 80’s New York vibe.
This record doesn’t hold back, the intro is great and sets you up for something great to follow, and it does just that, 11 tracks in under 20 minutes, it just doesn’t stop – from start to finish, pounding through track by track so aggressively you can almost picture people jumping on heads and knocking each all over the dance floor.
It seems like Beach Impediment can do no wrong right now, every release is a banger.
