Labels: Boss Tuneage – Flexipunk
Review by: Alex Deller
Six tracks of big, burly hardcore are somehow contained on this flimsy flexidisc, and they pack an incredible wallop despite the paper-thin format. There’s a definite whiff of Quality Control Records to proceedings, and while I could definitely see State Funeral appearing on the same bill as Violent Reaction, Arms Race or The Flex there’s something here … a raggedness of sound, a vitriolic dissatisfaction with modern politics … that’ll speak to folks who despair at the state of the current system as much as those who simply want to get their mosh on. Excellent!
