Magic Mist have risen from the ashes of Giant Burger – it’s actually the same band, same members but with a darker and noisier post punk sound than in their former incarnation. According to the blurb, one of them is called VegetarianHamburgerHelper – unless this is a new member I’m dismayed that I didn’t notice the name when I reviewed Giant Burger a couple of years ago. “Flare Path” is the first track and is a driven, noisy thing while “Tentacle Finger” is a little heavier and altogether more hectic.
