Two songs of reverby, gothy post punk here, an excellent little introduction to this Swedish band. “Svavelwinter” is first up, and it’s four and a half minutes of intensity, never really piling into top gear but always threatening. It’s somewhat repetitious but that befits what they are doing here. Over on the other side we get “Vilda Syrener” which is quite happy to continue along a similar path, perhaps with a bit more gusto though this time. I don’t really check out many singles these days but this is a perfect example of how the format can be relevant. Two intriguing songs that certainly get you wanting more. I’m very much a fan of the stylish silver and black artwork on display too.
