Seven-track ripper here that’s lean, clean and ultra-aggressive. The clear-cut riffing and purposeful breakdowns are all NYHC canon, while the raw, husky, scraped-off vocals put things at a slight remove from others drawing from the same well. While it’s all been supremely well assembled there’s a caustic sense of desperation here that you just can’t get off the peg, and it’s this that marks Pure Pressure out as something else: a fiery, frantic, threat of a band that I can’t wait to see fulfilled.
