Pretty great noise-rock here from a London-based trio I hope to hear a lot more of. ‘Machinae Inutiles’ offers up a hammering bout of relentless grate n’ grind reminiscent of Skull Defekts processed through the bleak industrial creak of Godflesh, or Caspar Brötzmann Massaker shorn of their desire to dive into cerebral pursuits and driven simply to maim and kill. It’s ugly and grey and at times seems like it will never end … perfect, then, for those for those who enjoy digging into the likes of Gore, Zeni Geva and Orchestra Of Constant Distress.
