Bonkers EP here that sploshes Obscura’s tech-death virtuosity up against maniacal djent intentions. The musicianship’s something else and the frantic widdling never seems to stop, but while this is all well and good Frogg still require something additional if they’re really going to knit things together. Still, it’s certainly satisfying in the short-term, and the band clearly have ambitious plans for their debut full-length … watch this space. Ribbit!
