Labels: At War With False Noise
Review by: Alex Deller

Sleazy synth stuff from Giorgio Trombino (Haemophagus, Undead Creep, Elevators To The Grateful Sky etc.) that makes you feel like you’ve got a thin layer of greasy, sweaty scunge coating your pitted skin. While there’ve been a proliferation of synth acts post-Drive and post-Stranger Things, Dolore dig back deeper to the woozy, nightmare squelches of Fabio Frizzi. You can easily imagine moments here soundtracking grainy sequencing involving hanged priests, tarantula swarms and jagged splinters slowly puncturing eye-meats, making ‘L’Orrendo Spettacolo Della Morte’ perfect as either an enjoyable puddle of standalone synth vomit or an excellent companion piece to the Regen Graves tape recently released by the same label.
