Nice little bit of jangly power pop here from Detroit, sprinkling a touch of alt-country in there for variation. Not necessarily the kind of thing anyone writing currently for Collective Zine would go nuts over but it’s engaging and the song writing is solid meaning this is certainly worth a listen if you like this kind of thing. They list their influences as Buffalo Tom and the Replacements if that helps give you a feel for what they are about. Those are not necessarily bands I have an in depth knowledge of but I can see where they are coming from for sure. Classic sounding guitar music that could have come out any time since the late 70s, it’s good, I like it.
