A solid vinyl debut from this Bordeaux d-beat band. The sound is lean and raw, but rather than busted at the edges things are crisp and icy … almost as though they’ve taken some production cues from some frost-dwelling black metal act rather than the usual motley assortment of cider-pissing punx. Special mention should be made of the vocals (provided, I think, by the Monarch singer?), which are a harsh and unforgiving foil for the rampaging punk fury but also varied enough to ensure things are constantly interesting.
