Labels: Emergency – Phobia
Review by: Alex Deller
Four tracks of pissed off political punk that follow a simple enough formula but do what they do pretty well. The ragged, crusty vibes and volatile energy occasionally remind me of a more straight-up, less metallic take on fellow Phobia Records alumni Arrogant State, and deploying guest vocalist Steffi (of fellow Prague punx Antigen) at a couple of key points really helps take things up a notch. Things seem to get more frantic and more aggressive as they progress, so by the time they hit closing track ‘Policejnà Provokace’ you almost feel like the band are ready to explode – it’s a good note to go out on, and caps off a solid and enjoyable blast of anarcho-streaked chaos.
