A pleasant enough slice of ambient guitar widdle here that’s by turns quietly frazzled and clamouringly intense. Wispy acoustic parts, cyclic meditations and fuzzy-edged drones nestle neatly alongside each other, and blurry ideas are drawn out like long thirsty trips through the desert. Barn Owl, Gastr Del Sol and Brant Bjork’s ‘Jalamanta’ all spring to mind at various points … an odd array of comparisons, but one that works pretty well should you find yourself with time enough on your hands to squint into the sun for an hour.
