Stompy, slabbish hardcore that’s big on shit-kicking riffs, propulsive momentum and searing, rasped vocals. It recalls other bands with similarly blunt, clipped monickers – Gag, Bib, Mace, G.L.O.S.S. and the like – but there’s an undercurrent of refinement here that those raggedy sorts never really approach. The track ‘Attainable’ sort of sums it up: satisfyingly blunt-force, but with odd little blips (a cool, scuttering drum pattern; some spacious, ringing guitar notes) that suggest the band have ambitions extending beyond pure Sturm und Drang attack.
