Loved the first Imploders album and they were a blast when they played with Hard Skin at The Lexington, which meant hopes were high for this second LP. Thankfully it delivers by the bucketload, the band torquing their sound, speeding it up a couple of notches and knocking off some of the rough edges without sacrificing any of their sarcastic, splenetic urgency. Whether it’s the bright, jagged guitars or coughed-up vocals, everything sounds uncomfortably close to your face, the band’s high-velocity brand of sweaty, sticky, sheesh-you-need-a-breathmint punk perfect for when you need to scratch that very specific  Circle Jerks / Career Suicide itch. Listen to ‘Eat, Sleep, Repeat’ and go OFF.
