Tarpit’s previous Wake Up 7″ on Collapse Records was a solid enough slab of hardcore action, but this one really ups the ante, building on their previous bullishness and varying things with some sudden stops n’ starts that tip you off balance for just long enough to let the band deliver that vicious knock-out blow. Three originals somewhere between Dead Stop and Infest plus an FU’s cover leave me not just wanting more, but wondering precisely what these nasty bastards are going to hit us with next”¦
