This band is just starting and already making quite the wave. Camera Obscura has members of the now defunct Shortwave Channel. This material is toned down from that but still maintain plenty on intensity. It’s also a beautiful picture disk with one side at 45 and the other 33. I dont remember having ever seen that. And it may be the reason for the record being so thick (and costly). Although the price may seem steep for a 7″(I paid 9$can) its definately worth it. Now onto the music. The song on 45, “we talked midi”, has to be my favorite of the two. It has a great melody on keyboards and the vocals have been altered (it seems) to create a dark atmosphere, which it certainly does. The second song, although being slower and mellowy is still wonderful. They have a record coming out on troubleman unlimited in the next few months which is already being anxiously awaited.
