A straight-edge band with a sense of humour!!! Musically, Good Clean Fun play positive 88 style sXe hardcore. Catchy, hard hitting & melodic. But listen to those lyrics! In just ten songs the band manage to take the piss out of sad old reforming hardcore bands, the internet, militant hardliners and Victory records. But there is also a serious side to the band, as they convey some great messages such as positive punk ethics, vegetarianism and an anti-violent dancing song.
Man, the awesome hardcore tunes are great too! If the words, Gorilla Biscuits, Dag Nasty and Where Fear & Weapons Meet invoke an emotion inside of you, then musically you’ll love this. Then pick up the lyric book and realise how funny this band really are!! In short, this album is quite literally good clean fun.
