I remember the first Jawbreaker record I heard (the ‘Whack & Blite’ 7″) and was left puzzled as to how a band could pull off a sound that was punk as fuck, yet not have the slightest allegiance to the word. Their music has always blended equal parts of emotion and melody, creating a truly inspirational sound often replicated to an annoying degree. This live set contains three songs we never got to hear before, of which “Gemini” is unbelievably good, and these songs will no doubt tempt all Jawbreaker devotees. This record was previously released on vinyl as Allied 100 and there were only limited copies available, so people must have bugged the shit out of Allied and Jawbreaker to put this thing on CD. Fuckin’ A.
