Jenny Piccolo - Lowest Common Denominator - 7

Labels: 31g
Review by: Andy Malcolm

A lovely, textured slice of pure beauty, one girl and her guitar.

What? Oh, I was just reviewing this record based on the bands name. Sorry. Let me listen to it now and go over the individual features of this disc that would suggest that I have got it all wrong, one by one.

  • one 7″ – 13 songs
  • it is a picture disc, with a technical diagram of the inside of a persons neck on it
  • ex-member of Mohinder
  • spazzy power violence
  • and a bit of grindcore

So, um, they sound a little bit like Mohinder, and are rather crazy. Then again, what else would you expect from a band on ThreeOneG.

My favourite song is the one where they play really really fast, particularly noisily, and unintelligbly shout a lot.
