Another single from the Kid and it should come to no surprise that it’s a quality release. Documenting the pairs Scandinavian tour each artist has just a single track on offer from each. The Kid606 side is sweet pulsating techno with some really good beats, it reminds me of some of the material from Matmos, but with a little bit more of a house feel. It’s pretty different from a lot of the releases he has done in the past which isn’t hard seeing as his output is varied to say the least.
I’ve never really enjoyed a Dwayne Sodahberk release in the past and although the material here isn’t exactly groundbreaking it’s quite nice. It reminded me of The Postal Service a bit albeit a lot simpler.
