Shockout teams up two more bad boy DJs to create some fitting music to Wayne Lonesome’s intense ramblings and blows me away yet a fucking gain.
DJ /rupture’s side is, like most of the rest of his output that I’ve been lucky enough to hear, fucking ace. The bass coming out of my speaker is in danger of stopping my neighbours from enjoying Children in Need, it’s so heavy. It pulsates in and out like something sexual that I wont go into.
Team Shadetek is fucking brilliant!! Imagine the really simple pop dancehall type beats of someone like Sean Paul or the beats to Lumidee’s Uh Oh song and get this nasty Ragga MC to go nuts over the top. The rhythm to this track is beautiful and this record is just waiting to get played out.
Now all I need to do is get me that new Soundmurderer split!
