Calling Gina Clark - s/t - 5

Labels: Crucificados

Each copy of this record comes with a puzzle piece sewn to the cover. Collect them all to complete the puzzle! Each piece is black though, so it is probably the hardest puzzle in the world. Or a picture of space, with no stars. Or something.

Ok. This is a 5″ so is ridiculously hard to play. It’s pretty cool though when you do manage to precisely place the needle on the midget piece of plastic. CGC recreate in great detail for you the emo violence scene of the years 1999-2000. If you are distraught that bands such as Jeromes Dream or Usurp Synapse are no longer yelling unintelligably and falling over and being loud bastards, then Calling Gina Clark is for you. They even have the required quiet emo parts every now and again, but mostly it is dudes going AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHHHHHHHHH (in German) and thrashing. They do a good job of it.

So, if that sounds appealing, or you don’t have enough 1999-2000 emo violence records already, or you just like to test your skills at getting 5″ records to play, then this is the one for you! Also make sure you read the entertaining thread on the Level Plane forums regarding this band and a bootleg split release with Usurp Synapse.
