The Ga Ga's - Left Of Centre - CD (2005)

Labels: Sanctuary
Review by: Andy Malcolm

The first song sounds like 3 Colours Red paying homage to the 1980s. I ask you. The second is like Honeycrack with all the harmonies but its not so edgy. Heh. So yeah, this is mid to late 90s BRIT ROCK reincarnated, and it is looming over me ominously, a relic of a past, long since forgotten life when I would have really enjoyed this kind of thing. Its straight forward, riffy, catchy melodic rock music and it doesn’t annoy me. Its hardly the kind of thing that is going to set my soul on fire these days, but I have this strange nagging sensation in my head that I can’t write swear words and hate it up big time because it does sound so similar to the kind of thing that I used to listen to all the time once. Oh dear.
