Big, doubtless intentionally dumb partytime music that has more than just a sniff of cock about its rock. Quite what the hell they’re banging on about on tracks like Peppermint Petty I’m not sure, but when it’s delivered so crisply and with such camp gusto it’s hard to really have any misgivings. Granted they might not exactly be up there among the heavenly ranks of such good time rock n’ rollers as Turbonegro, the Hellacopters or Rocket From The Crypt, but, after all, who the hell is? If it’s a question of tipping something mood-enhancing into your system and swapping spit or sweat on some dimly-lit dancefloor while a bunch of sleazy good-for-nothings provide the big chords, ooh-ooh’s and woah-yeah’s then it may well be worth letting these Go Faster Nuns take you for a spin and see just how far they’re willing to go”¦
