No muss, no fuss hardcore punk that gallops through the 21 tracks from their three seven inches in fine style. Reminiscent of a happier Out Cold, catchy and tight musically, with a bit of Husker Du in the neat guitar acrobatics, Deep Sleep may be yet another band reviving the 80’s hardcore sound but at least they’re breathing a bit of fresh air into it. This CD also conveniently occupies approximately 50% of the space the original records do.
