The first full-length from Bloodhorse clip-clops from the stable with an uncertain clatter of hooves, hardly a thoroughbred but not quite a nag for the knacker’s yard either. Pitting “Sleep’s Holy Mountain” against “Blues For The Red Sun” was sure a pretty notion, but for all the climactic punishment of ‘A Passing Thought To The Contrary’ or the pulsing Omishness of ‘Morning Burial’ you also have moments which amount to having a slack-jawed moron bellow DURRRR! DURRRR! DURRRR! in your face for five minutes at a time. Feel free to give it a try, but just have the glue factory on standby.
