This is a pretty tasty bit of plastic and well worth dusting your walkman off for “” five dark n’ burly tracks of end-of-days hardcore caught somewhere between last-album HHiG and first-album Tragedy. The riffs are meaty as you like with a tense sense of melody snuck away to make things slightly easier to swallow, everything kept immediate and relentless with snapping jaws inches from your throat rather than descending into interminable stadium crust meanderings. Next time around it’d be nice to hear the drums ramped higher in the mix but, hey, it’s a demo for fucks sake, and one that’s a darn sight better than many slices of vinyl tucked away in every punker’s record collection at that.
