Coke Bust - Lines In The Sand - LP (2009)

Labels: Six Weeks
Review by: Alex Deller

A tough, no-nonsense sxe hardcore LP here whose 17 face-pounding songs whiz past all too quickly. Short, blunt and totally to the fucking point there’s absolutely no messing around as the band channel the likes of SSD, DRI and Last Rights whilst tightening up the sound so’s only the occasional melodic snippet or wheeze of feedback can break through the incessant, no-room-to-breathe pummel. There’s more than a whiff on Infest to the vocals, but the chap backs up the “OARGH!” with a real sense of incandescent rage that so many others seem to lack, sealing the deal for a sweet little outing that’s a definite one for the ‘keep’ pile.
