Nesseria play chaotic, ripping hardcore with some tech-y guitar parts. I can see them citing Botch and Converge as influences. Luckily for Nesseria, they don’t fall too deep into the “wankery lead guitar part’ territory that ruins Converge, although it does crop up occasionally (mid-point of “Par Pertes Et Profits’ etc.) I’d definitely recommend this to fans of those two. A couple of the tracks scream “screamo” at me too”¦ particularly the first two-ish minutes of “Le Quatrieme Age’. I reckon this band definitely has their heart in the right place and this record is pretty meaty. I can get behind this. Give it a listen.
