Second full-length from this meaty Peruvian band. Old-school thrash blended with black/death and sounding somewhere along the lines of Sarcofago or Sextrash. There’s an awesome old-school vibe to the whole LP and the ripping guitar, relatively simplistic vocals and raw production makes it all feel pretty organic. They’d been together 14 years by the time they recorded this LP, so understandably they knew what they were doing. It’s surprising that at a time where there are tons of bands trying (and failing) to rehash some “retro thrash” sound that people aren’t listening to more bands like this. Definitely a case of “Why are you guys listening to that garbage when you could be listening to this?!” They almost played London last year but had to cancel. If/when they end up coming over here in the future, I’ll see you in the pit. Fucking awesome.
