Ripping and chuggy distorted hardcore in the vein of Extortion or even Godstomper. The first track “Ball and Chain’ is an absolute belter “” so heavy, so angry! “Satan’s Snatch’ struck me as a bit shitty in comparison to the rest of this “” I guess mostly because its mid-tempo and has a really bad, almost Muse-esque twiddly guitar part in the background. Next there’s a cover of Infest’s “Behind The Tongue’ though, which is fucking awesome and pulls it right back. Despite the disdain a lot of people have for “powerviolence’ (samey, derivative, overplayed etc.), there seems to still be bands getting this pretty right. Shame this demo isn’t more consistent.
