I’m going to keep this short, a lot like this record. It’s a blast from the past. There’s a bit of Dean Dirg in here, as well as old jams like Angry Samoans and similar 80s garage hardcore punk. I’m smitten with that raucous, clean guitar in punk rock these days. It’s quite assaulting, in a less muddy and chuggy sort of way. It’s razor sharp, and really cuts right through the mix, like a mid-range instrument should. The indignant yelps are a continuation of the assaulting tone, ransacking your lugs drums to a mushy pulp. A solid punk rock record that doesn’t really sway too far away from the blueprint that was drawn up years ago. What it lacks in inspiration, it makes up for in robust guile and assertive onslaughts of instrument-smashing tones.
