I’m sorry but it’s a cunty name, it really is.
I like this, sort of. Musically it’s good angular noisy post punk with a bit of garagey / grungey riffery. A bit like The Jesus Lizard crossed with Erase Errata maybe (well thats what the press sheet says, and it’s pretty accurate). But the singing is really annoying, it sounds forced, as if it wants Plan B (the magazine, not that twat singer) to be it’s Dad. That said it does get better as you get used to it, and the music is pretty good. There is a lot of British good noise art bands around though, and this isn’t up there with Cold Pumas, or any of the bands on Bristol’s Local Kid Records, in my opinion. Steve Lamacq likes it though.
