The Scratch are a “serious band who don’t take things too seriously”. Who writes these fucking press releases.
This album was originally released in 2003, and some madman has had the worrying idea of re-releasing it.
This is some guys who obviously grew up listening to stuff like the Buzzcocks and Richard Hell, but got horrendously lost along the way somewhere. The shitty glam-esque vocals make it sound like the Dirty Pretty Things or something similarly mundane. The lyrics I can be bothered to listen to are total arse, and are probably about being a rock star in a rock band.
Harrowingly terrible.
