Seriously. Who has not heard Raein? You’re reading this review because you probably have never heard them and are not very familiar with the genre they fall into and curious to know what I have to inform you OR you could be a really huge fan and have every single record they released and perhaps, curious to know what I have to say. Terribly sorry if you belong to the former category because I am not going to be very helpful no matter how much I try and I’m also sorry if you fall into the latter category because what can I say, really? It’s Raein. Completely overwhelming you over with 6 epic of epicness City of Caterpillar-esque tracks that layer and weave themselves like a beautiful tiramisu with all the flavours in the right place and when you’ve licked the dish clean, you wish you could devour it all over again. And you can actually. Just by flipping the record over.
p.s. There’s a discography cd out soon but perhaps you know that already.
