CRUSTY METAL. I don’t know how much further I can take it beyond that, I prefer my crusty metal to sound like Neurosis, and not as like this with standard ‘rock’ i,e constipated singing, really dull songs, and borderline ‘funky’ bass.
It doesn’t start bad, niceish atmospheric bit of piano, and violin albeit slightly ruined by Crazytown on the bass. But then the meat of the songs are just horrible. Sorry L.S.D ( urgh) boring songs that i would expect to hear from North Devon band in a battle of bands played by hippy surfers. In the 1990’s.
One redeeming factor is the instrumental song, its hippy stuff, which I would normally dislike but on this record it’s quite the treat. Stick to the bits that aren’t metal I reckon.
I’m no cunt, I tried to like this buts its just a massive load of shit.
