Rasalhague - Rage Inside The Window - CD (2011)

Labels: Malignant
Review by: Ted Reynolds

I don’t know how to review this. It’s ambient gloomy drone. I’ve been at plenty of shows where someone spends ages setting up all there computers, and pedals, and fiddly knob boxes. then plays impenetrable noise and drone for half an hour, and I know people who are into this sort of stuff, but I don’t know why.

It’s probably fucking brilliant, but to me it’s boring. If it was the soundtrack to a horror film, or Silent Hill, or Dead Space or something then I’d think it was aces high. But it isn’t so I don’t.

Just not my thing, I don’t like it, but I’m not the right person for the job really. Do you like Merzbow and that sort of thing? Do it!
